A LAWYER DEDICATED TO FINDING EDUCATIONAL SOLUTIONS FOR YOUR CHILD
Federal and New York State law require that a student with a disability receives a "free appropriate public education" ("FAPE"). Public school districts, however, often fall short of this obligation. If you believe that your school district is not providing your student with a FAPE, the law allows you to file a complaint and seek appropriate relief. This may include a new Individualized Education Program ("IEP") that includes appropriate supports and accommodations, compensatory services such as tutoring, or even tuition reimbursement for a private school that can meet the child's needs. Justin supports students and their families at each step of the special education process, from the initial evaluation through the placement of the child to the hearing. With attentiveness and compassion, Justin will collaborate with you to serve your child's unique needs and educational goals.
